puppy teething

Luigi is teething YAY!! Poor Luigi - he is bleeding and has no teeth so he cannot nip.

It is very hot at the moment so a good thing to give your dog is a ice cube. Luigi loves it and it is good for his teething and hot weather. Luigi is now 6 months old. It has been HOT so Luigi sleeps a LOT.

We have to make sure that Luigi has lots of thing to chew.

puppy toys

Luigi loves his milk bottle. It is one of his favourite puppy toys. He has got the top off but it was dangerous for him to have so we take them off now. At one point we put his bottle in a sock. He liked that but was very happy when we took it out. He can bite and carry the bottle. We change the bottle when it has lots of bite marks.

Coton de Tulear Toys

We have made some coton de tulear toys for Luigi.

1. A good home made toy is a wet cloth.
2. A small cardboard box with some food in it is a good home made toy. Luigi spends a long time trying to get it out.
3. A ball of paper is something Luigi loves to shred it up.
4. A frozen carrot is a good toy for your dog to chew. This is a good toy for puppy teething.
5. A good toy is a stick wrapped in cloth Luigi likes to rip of the cloth so we have to re make it lots.
7. Kong wubba. This is Luigis best toy. You can throw it. You can play tug of war and your dog can chew it.
   
8. Kong jumpn jack is good for pushing food into it for the dog to find.
